On May 12, 8pm, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is
playing a new piece of Pateras’ entitled QQ.

Robin Fox has written a special new patch for it. The ensemble
is 16 players, including Pateras on prepared piano and G4.

They are split into 4 quartets: strings, winds, brass and percussion,
separated into groups on the stage.

Breakneck speed, messed up orchestration and nasty processing
will ensue.

At 6:15pm, Fox and Pateras play their new duo set that we’re
going to play across Europe in May/June (starting the day after).

If you buy a ticket for the 8pm show, you get the 6:15 show FREE.

Where: CUB Malthouse, Sturt St, Southbank.
When: Sat 12th May,6:15pm/8pm.
Cost: $32-$46 (D-A reserve).
By itself, the 6:15 show is $20-25.
