The Cave 12 Alive CD launch of P/B/B’s “Live at L’Usine” in Geneva last Monday was a huge success, and the disc is now available through Metamkine distribution in France.  Cover below.

Pateras/Baxter/Brown will perform 14 dates across Europe this northern Autumn.  The first leg of the tour will be through France and Switzerland with Sydneysiders The Necks, who need no introduction.  The trios will play in their original incarnation, then perform sextet in big band formation.

Mid-tour Pateras has a couple of other engagements, opening the Why Note Festival in Dijon with his acclaimed solo work “Chasms”, and playing duo with French Percussionist Le Quan Ninh at Berlin’s prestigious Total Music Meeting,  who are celebrating their 40 year anniversary this year.

Mid-November sees the trio reforming for shows across Norway, Italy, Poland and Germany, including the Fri Resonans Festival in Trondheim and The Focus Festival in Poznan.

Fox and I were recently in Estonia for a little shinding called Cabaret Derrida…what does it mean? No idea. What does it have to do with Derrida? We don’t know!!! But we got to wear these ridiculous outfits and we look SHIT HOT. We also ate moose for breakfast and I now have the proud title of the first guy to ever play prepared piano live at a dance party. Challengers?

After that we hit the Moers Festival in Germany and my gear finally worked…we played every morning with fellow Orstraylians Steve Heather, Anthea Caddy, Clare Cooper and Clayton Thomas….
